Joel and Jodi Thomas
Volunteers in Youth and Children's Ministry
Joel and Jodi's mission is to call young people back to Father God, by the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and disciple them to stick with Him.
They are in love with Jesus. Both delight in sharing the compassionate, yet fierce love of the Father with all children and young people - inviting and encouraging them to grow up in the freedom, purity and hope of their own authentic walk with Jesus.
Joel and Jodi met at a Christian youth camp in the UK and became sweet friends. They were married in 2014 and have since had two sons.
Joel has trained with South West Youth Ministries where he received a NOCN Level 3 Certificate in Youth Work Practice (QCF) and served the church and community of Melksham in Wiltshire, England, as their Youth Leader for 5 years.
Jodi also trained with SWYM, specialising in Children's and Families work. Jodi then went on to study BA (Hons) Applied Theology with Moorlands South West, completing her degree placement at the same church as Joel.
Brad and Robin have been mentoring Joel and Jodi since 2013.
Joel's interests include art, music, playing the drums, studying and talking about the bible, mountain biking, and anything DIY related!
Jodi's interests include scrolling through pinterest, dancing, baking cupcakes, art, keeping fit, and gymnastics (particularly handstands!).
