Plan for Salvation
What do I do now?
You may now sense that something is missing from your life. You are feeling an emptiness only God can fill and all you have to do is ask Him! I know it sounds strange, talking to someone you can’t see or touch, but it’s not hard and you can’t mess up! Just speak to God openly and honestly from your heart. Ask Him to forgive you for all the ways you have sinned against Him by violating his laws and then confess your belief, without reservation, that Christ died on the cross to pay the penalty for you sins and that God raised Him form the dead. With this, God will forgive you for your sins and fill that emptiness with His Spirit. You can use the prayer below for guidance.
"Dear God,
I admit to you I don’t really understand everything about you, but I do realize I need you in my life.
I am tired of feeling empty, directionless, and alone.
At times, I feel afraid and don’t know where to go for help.
I need your help. I understand that You died on a cross and by doing that you erased all of my sin.
I am sorry I have sinned against You. Please forgive me.
I ask You, Jesus, now to come into my heart and life and to fill me with Your Holy Spirit.
Thank you for your Resurrection that gives me a new life in Christ.
Thank you for the promise of Eternal life.
Make me into the person you want me to be.
Amen."

You are now “born again” as Jesus said in the Bible, in John 3:7. As a new follower of Jesus Christ, read the Bible daily. It’s the best way to grow in this new relationship. We suggest you start with the Book of John. Most importantly, don’t ever be afraid to share you weakness with God. He will give you the strength you need to turn away from sinful things. Plus, there are other followers of Christ who can come along side of you and support you. Find someone who has a strong relationship with Christ and share you victories and mistakes with him or her. They can encourage you and lighten the burden of making those mistakes.
